Zorzal's entry level Malbec is still a hand made wine rather than a mass produced industrial wine. It retains Zorzal's characteristic emphasis on pure fruit and soil. The Terroir Unico wines see no oak. Dark garnet with a purple tint. Really nice nose of blackberry, spice, dust, and minerals. Ripe medium palate of tart cherry, blackberry, and minerals. Very good length. Sweet tannins. Terrific and interesting wine, especially for the money.
