Had this last week. Didn't take notes, and I wasn't sure if I left this 2002 too long in the cellar. It was surprisingly tasty and fresh for such an inexpensive dessert wine. It was definitely on its way down, but remained a well balanced wine. Lots of complexity, with all kinds of tropical fruits on the medium-bodied palate; a nice long finish too. Impressive staying power for the price (B+)! Drink up.

Light gold colour, crystal clear with good legs, attractive nose, botry tis, lovely sweet entry with crisp balancing acidity. This wine is a little marvel at the reasonable priceof £5.49 per half bottle. Not quite the complexity of a good Sauternes but a really good value alterntative.

On the way down, lost all freshness but still very pleasant

Agree with previous notes. Sweet entry, giving way to melon and cinnamon. Relatively crisp finish. Very good value.
