Absolutely ripping at this point, finish of mirabelle, peach apricot and shist with some smoke and gravel goes on and on and on.Wonderful mid-weight with wonderful Reisling lemon lime mixed with a kind of old foedre /celler note and a rounded texture reminding of a Boxler Sommerberg. Up at the top for me - and amazing considering the retail. As good as a Privat

Doug Lee’s review nails this wine for me: “Pale gold color. Nose of apricot, apple core, a bit of citrus, white stone. Dry mineral backbone overlain by peach, apricot, lime, granny apple, and some lychee. Wonderful acidity propelling the ripe fruit. Longer finish of apricot, petrol and schist.” Excellent at the table and good value at $26.

Ripe apricot and peach nose. Medium bodied with medium acidity. Mix of ripe and tart peach fruit. Nicely balanced.

Terry Theise Austrian/German tasting (Milwaukee Athletic Club): Very floral expression with ripe peach fruit. The couple '12 Nigl today are pretty RIPE. Hot floosies for the vintage?
