Dark pink color with a bit of blue hue. Fresh strawberry Red Vine licorice on the palate, candied sweetness in the finish. Modern. Feels like they're trying to hide the classic tea/sherry/herbal notes that Tavel lovers love. Pleasant, but not a do-over.

Darker rose on sight. Cherry, strawberry and clove. Roundness. Florality on the nose. Tavel terroir shows through. Acidity is med (+). Finish is medium. Some residual sugar, but in balance.

Fresh strawberries and musk on the nose, with strawberries and unripe black cherries on the palate. Decent acidity keeps it fresh and lively, and creaminess on the finish provides lift. Simple.

Bonnie loves it, I almost love it and do admit it's very good, but for me it's too focused on two distinct flavors. I've never drunk tangerine juice, but I've had tangerines and enjoy them. For me it's like a glass of tangerine juice with a lime juice shot dropped into it. The tangerine is the first flavor followed shortly by the lime. And that's about it for the flavor palate. We would buy it again, but I'm thinking apps on the deck with Mary and Jerry this July although we enjoyed it with Szechuan tonight.
