  Ruby with some purple, medium (+) in intensity. The nose is clean, with medium (+) oak-influenced aromas of cocoa, spice, tobacco, tea. The palate is dry, with medium acidity, medium (+) tannins, medium alcohol at 13.5%. The body and flavor intensity are medium (+) but the finish is just medium in length. The flavors are fairly simple, mostly black cherry. Drink now, but may benefit from a couple more years of ageing to round it out. A pretty good wine for the price.
