Potent, more musty that your average grapefruit river NZ SB. It shows some of the Bordeaux SB cat urine elements, along with the grapefruit river, under ripe citrus, and shallot notes. Great acid, tangy and zingy. You'll know what whether you like it from the first whiff!

Very pale yellow; musky, grapefruit rind, bitter lime, some chive; soft on entry, light body, soft citrus, sour on finish; some age has mellowed this a bit, ok.

Clean and balanced. More on the dry side than fruity. Paired decently with sushi, although I'd go with something else next time. It's not too bad for the price, but it's nothing great either.

Effusive herbal lime zest nose, riper on entry then expected, near oily midpalate grapefruit mixes with melon and lemon. Fruit forward style, after time hints of melon on nose..white peach on palate.

Definitely one of my top five Marlborough. Really clean and crisp. Well balanced and not too much grapefruit, or lemon, or apple or spice or grass. Pours a pale yellow- light bodied and refreshing. Stood up to a somewhat gingery, cilantro stir fry at the beach.
