200 Burgundy Grand Crus from vintage 2000, 4-day blind tasting (Singapore): Rich, ripe, good sucrosite, almost too intense, too acidic for the fruit? A bit short. The Bienvenues were all a step below the Batards.
beautifully reductive nose, mintiness, honey with balanced acidity and freshness on the palate. Great bottle.
Very good for the vintage, good layers, not as electric and nuanced as other years. Not quite the super rich style. 92
