Red fruit with acidity and tannins than have both softened. A pleasant wine without a lot of distinctive character; nothing to dislike here but if I'd paid a lot I'd be disappointed. Redman is kind of entry/lower-mid tier so I think it's on par for QPR.

Fairly restrained nose. Not that much going on in the mouth either. Lacking concentration. Tannins have melted away to leave, well, not a lot. Finishes pretty short. Can't discern any Coonawarra character. Just all a bit uninteresting, really. Disappointing.

Cork. Nose seems aged but powerful, with notes of blackcurrant, vanilla, and alcohol. Palate shows intense, cordial-like blackcurrant fruit, but massive alcohol and tannins make it seem dry. Dry, chocolatey oak.
