Not sure whether this is too young or too old. Lost some of the primary vibrancy that Oz cabernet has, including any of the minty. green pepper notes that I love. This was dusty, with a hint of earth, soft juicy currant and plummy fruit, dry finish with soft fine tannins. Nose, not overly intense, soft, sweet fruit - dark plum, cherry, currant. Overall impression is that it is delicious, but very different. Not sure I would have pegged this as a cab if served blind, tasted more like a blend, but the finish is pure class with some serious length. I would have said 91 points last night, but more like 92 tonight and will update with the last glass tomorrow.

Nice dry oaky nose with shy notes of blackberry, chocolate, apple skin, and violets. Penetrating charge of dark berry fruit on the palate, drying tannins at the back, lovely sweet threnody in the finish. Speaks of vaste expanses and dry brush. 50 + 17 + 16 + 8 = 91.

Dark purple ruby. Undergrowth, anise, dark berries on the complex nose, with a nice touch of oak. Bright attack on the front of the tongue, deepening towards the back but still very pure and juicy, some well integrated tannins. Lovely aromatics on the long acid finish. A lissome young Australian cabernet, reminds me of my youth. 50 + 17 + 17 + 9.

A stunner; typical cabernet nose, elegant. Finish with good length and grip.
