  • Flight 7, Niederösterreich I - Riesling, Wine 8 (non-blind): The wine was medium yellow-green in colour and offered cooked white meat (chicken/pork), white stone fruit, red apple and some ethereal notes on the mineral, spicy and almost chocolaty nose. On the palate the wine showed peach, grapes, minerals and a herbal spiciness, paired with medium-plus fruity-sweet acidity and incredible length. The nose was almost aristocratic, in an elegant way; the palate very elegant, with a very good, round mouthfeel, the aftertaste lingered for a minute. Great Riesling; I liked it a lot!
