  • Pale, slightly green-ish color. Quite aromatic and expressive nose with aromas of honeyed yellow fruit, with peach and apple on the fore, supported by nice steely minerality. The flavors follow the nose with notes of honey, pineapple and ripe yellow stone fruits. The palate is medium bodied and although the wine is semi-sweet (18 g/l) it actually comes across rather off-dry, all thanks to the good, racy acidity. Lovely lightness stemming from the low (10,5%) alcohol. Medium-long finish with flavors of fresh red apple, tart lime, crisp acidity and steely minerality.

An easy and simple Riesling with a horrible label, but still a wine with surprisingly high quality and good balance, when its price is taken into account. A versatile Mosel Riesling from the inexpensive end of the price range. At 8,49€ this is well worth its price and more.
