  Dark, inky. Coats the glass nicely. Upon opening there was some caramel and banana on the nose, but after two hours this had receeded to being more berry and oak dominated. On the palate the oak regains the caramel tones. Good structure, plenty of alcohol and very tannic but also refreshing acidity to keep the former in check. Full bodied.
