Smooth fruity burst of fresh red but savoury fruit. Alcohol a bit high at 14.5% for its light weight but at this price you can't have everything! And overall this is good value.

Pure and simple expression of cinsault with a bright, sappy and light-footed attack. Smooth and delicious. This has great weight in the mouth and went well with a fatty pork dish. Excellent value at £6.

This wine surprised me - light/medium bodied, a lovely garnet colour with some translucency. Not that forward on the nose, but had strong red fruit, particularly sour cherries on the palate, and a little peppery zing on the finish.
Paul Boutinot wines continue to represent superb value for money.

A super wine for the money showing cherries and roasted red peppers on the attack with some white pepper and bitter fennel top notes also present. The best thing is the texture which is extremely well-rounded with an almost silky purity on the finish.
