(Random midweek) Dark garnet with just a hint of bricking on the rim. Elegant confected nose, dark juicy berries, light leafy mint, basil and supple leather. Palate is similarly chockfuls of red and black berry pastille, light cherry spices, lined with earthy leather and graphite. Certainly rather more developed and together than I last recall - I'd say drinking in a great place now. Beautifully resolved tannins with lifted aromatics and acid. Light and elegant on finish, with some aged fruit flavors, lingering with soft stems and yet more mint. With time in the glass, barnyard pong with lifted acidity. Yummy!

expressive, juicy mataro spices and lollypop on palate, red fruit lifted with graphite and ash - juicier than it tastes! Ends stemmy and green, with more graphite. Interesting, reminds me of something I had on Qantas once... Enjoy young!

(Eli Bday Brunner) Transparent ruby in glass, showing expressive fresh florals (lilies), green tobacco, sweet blackcurrant pastilles, and hint of chlorine greenness. Soft young tannins, with more raspberries. Surprisingly approachable, with stemmy greens, and milk chocolate on finish. Interesting stuff!
