I bought this in the 375ml format because I was looking for something in a half size to add to my arsenal. There isn't much choice at our local store.
This is a nice dark garnet colour. It smells like red wine too. There are some spice, tar, and loamy notes to this. Fine tannins that should carry this for a couple of years at least. At under $9 I think it's a great wine for those occasions when you want something to wash down a slice of pizza or a weeknight piece of meat. Will buy more for sure.

At Bobby Van's NYC, wine by the glass menu. I usually get decent or at least passable wines from the better steak houses...this one was an exception.
Dark color, cloudy. Alcoholic nose, reticent fruit. Seemed like it was open for a while. Pruney, hot/alcohol, earthy, dark fruits. Astringent and acidic on the finish.
Don't bother...

Blackberries with spices, easy drinking. Fairly complex and layered for the price.

Not as fruity as other Argentinian Malbecs; it shows more minerality. That being said...it's a single-pitched, mostly boring, Malbec.

Same as previous note. However this bottle had a bit more fruit.
