I've never had a red from Cadillac before but this is pretty impressive stuff, if a little young. Big, round, chunky but serious stuff that should chew through 10 years in the cellar without breaking sweat. Lots of juicy cabernet fruit with spices, menthol and slick tannins. Wears the vintage on its sleeve so this should offer up decent drinking all the way through its long life. Good stuff, but at £35 touching the upper limit for what I deem acceptable for a Cotes de Bordeaux.
