  • 2012 vintage. Bought at The Wine Society, UK, for £6.75 in 2014.

Very good white wine - and a bargain, too.

Not as dry as I had hoped it was going to be - was drinking it with fish - but a lovely rich white wine, with a deep straw colour for a 3 year old. Not much going on in the aroma dept, I have to say, some mild peach impression maybe.

Redeems itself in the mouth, though: white stone fruit, some oak, rich long flavours, a hint of toasted almonds, finishes almost dry. Wished I had of drunk it younger, when perhaps the acid was more lively. Will buy again and drink current vintage younger. This wine doesn't have to have food, it's style means it'd be ideal as a party quaffer - a very good one.

Value-for- money? You bet, a cracker. Defo buy again.

  • Gooey, oiley as remembered though definitely a quality division below the previous vintage mainly due to too much mouth tang on the back end.

  • Pêches, agrumes et fleurs blanches avec une petite touche minéral. Belle structure et très agréable.
