Very elegant, showing slightly muted ruby color. Fruit is fading a good bit, acid still holding the line. Medium finish. Probably still has some life left

Super solid, great place right now! Ultra aromatic, lively on the palate and an amazing finish. Years to go on this one. Drinking on th e heels of the 2010 Janus, which was amazing. Superb bottlings from premium producer in the Willamette Valley!

Tasted Blind: The nose was reticent at first, showing hardly any fruit and a dank sweaty sock note with some rubber compound. Is this corked? Nope, with a little swirling a pleasant, subdued red strawberry and cranberry note emerges on the nose that is delicate and backed by some floral notes. The lightness and precision continue into the palate showing a zippy character built on light red fruits, a touch of cola, cardamom spice and a hint of volcanic soil. Very, very elegant. There are still some unresolved grainy tannins that sit underneath the fruit in the middle and through the finish. I really like the restrained, pretty style of this wine. Very Good

Confectionary dark red fruit. Like cool-aid. Named after a hot-boxed chair lift in Vail. With a hard edge structure on the back end.
