This was an awesome bottle of Chablis! Palate was as good as last bottle, got better with air & when it warmed up. The nose was much more spiced, which I loved Wish I had more.

Especially good 3 hours after opening and warming. Enveloping nose, neither brutally young nor overly mature. Aromas have merged cohesively with a significant briny edge. Palate is similarly cohesive with a briny finish. Good density with good length on the finish.

The Verticals Tasting at 2023 La Paulée (Eventi Hotel, New York): Magnum. Medium yellow. Fragrant floral and citrus tones. Rich, round feel. Apple and pear, excellent acidity and saltiness, long dry finish. This is at least excellent and much better than the Fèvre Clos vintages poured today.
Medium yellow with a bit of green. Powerful aromas of sea shell and citrus. Glorious texture and glycerine at Grand Cru level. Wonderful mix of salinity, herb, lemon/lime fruit, and soil backed by excellent acidity. Lingering and long. I moved this up in the queue since another bottle about 6 months ago was so drab and diffuse, but I must say that this turned out to be one of the best bottles I've had from Christian Moreau, whose wines have been plagued by an unacceptably high incidence of oxidation, at least in my experience.
