not blind After opening the bottle it starts with a lactic and cheesy nose but after ten minutes the annoying flavors are diminishing. Saline, a bit oaked, subtle nuts but the citrus is dominating. 91-92

Cellar and Vineyard Visit with Domaine Christian Moreau (Chablis France): Tasting at domaine. Popped and poured. Slightly musty start, but that dissipated after 5 minutes. Moderately ripe and concentrated apple on nose and palate with floral and spice notes supported by great textures. Not a powerhouse, this showed lots of similarity to the 2013 vintage tasted earlier, but with even greater classic Chablis minerality and finesse.

Wildman New Release Burgundy Tasting (Peninsula Hotel - Chicago IL): Tasting, brief note. Lemon and green apple give this a energetic, textured, and lean character with a slight sense of oak that will need another year to soften. But an overall great edge and texture. I ever-so-slightly preferred this over the Valmur.

More flavor of oak than ideal, but good material underneath.

Light yellow color; appealing, ripe pear, yellow apple nose; tasty, poised, ripe pear, yellow apple, mineral palate; medium-plus finish
