Don & The Shrimpheads (Craig & Nita's Place): Light gold color. Drank a glass over an hour plus in mini vertical of '05, '10, and '12. Also delicious, with a more tropical bend, is the flamboyant 2012. More juicy on the palate, with Mandarin orange out front, nectarine, and a hint of tropical fruit followed by some mouthwatering tropical fruits, pretty mineral notes. This is rounder, but still showing plenty of acidity, and it's very classy. 94+ to maybe 95pts.

Local Minneapolis Chef extraordinaire Don Saunders cooked for 8 Shrimpheads at my place. We highly recommend hiring Don to cook for in home events! David's btl. Paired with our halibut course & flighted w/ Siggy's '10. This was more ready out of the gates then the wonderful '10 which I give a slight edge to for overall power & intensity. But the 12 was sublime too. This too improved with time in the glass and went wonderfully with the Halibut.

Golden straw in color and showing a bit advanced with lots of honeyed florals. Bottle in 2018 was too young; five years was too long to wait to check back in although this is still completely drinkable.

PNP. Brine, lemon and honey on the nose. Deep, savory and salty palate, great mouth feel and persistence.
