This was more Cote de beaune than GC chablis as it lacked the combination of mineral and ethereal elements I look for in this terroir. It was full bodied, a touch waxy, nice balance and mouthfeel but not very complex or mysterious. I'd have guessed villages or premier cru chassagne, though it's not quite that either... not bad, just a touch atypical and hard to pin down
