  Dark cherry, earth, tobacco and cocoa. Slight bricking red in color. Seamless on the palate and has a lot of life. This wine is drinking a a very high level, but probably on the back side of the peak window.

  (Vaaghals, Oslo. The last bottle). Perfect pitch. Crimson core with plenty of rusty tawny edges. Explosive aromas of dried cherry, spice, leather, cloves in abundance, eucalyptus and herbs. Radiates beauty and elegance. Impeccable mouthfeel: fleshy, structured, fresh but with an abundance of secondary and tertiary flavours. Decades ahead. I am yet to have a bad 2008 Brunello.

  Decantered for an hour.
  
  Beatutiful nose of dried cherry, maybe some leather notes. Finished with some fine and slightly dusty tannins.
  
  Wonderful wine, right in the zone. 94-95
