Pale bronze color. Very odd, green-toned nose with aromas of brine pickle, grass, some green garlic skunky character and a hint of pumpkin. Most likely there's something reductive going on that should not be here. The wine is light-bodied, lively and very green-toned on the palate with flavors of brine pickle, something vaguely bready, a little bit of grassy greenness, a hint of unripe apples and a touch of gooseberries. Overall the wine is very racy with high acidity. The finish is long and grassy with some odd bready flavors along with notes of lemon juice, some salinity and a hint of green apples.
It was completely impossible to guess which wine this was, because you couldn't sense any varietal characteristics behind the aggressively green and somewhat skunky notes. My guess was a natural producer who has some troubles with their process, but I was surprised to see that the wine was actually from the Tissot house. Most likely the wine is not supposed to be this grassy and pickle-y, thus unrated.

An interesting and funky wine for sure, with a pretty heavy core of apples, almonds and smoke, with some noticeable oxidative tones on the nose and palate; The sherried tones were a bit more than I typically prefer (and led to some suggesting it might be flawed); Well made for its style

Smaker oksydert eple rett etter åpning, men strammer seg overraskende fort opp med luft. Ganske så elegant og konsentrert chardonnay.

Litt anonym, har hatt langt bedre viner fra Tissot i 2011.

Deep yellow, citrusy banana nose; acidic mango pineapple, almost a roasted vegetable medley flavor, mineral
