  Very 2010 with great fruit, mostly red and big but sweet tannins. Very drinkable but also holding a lot in reserve. Will only get better over time. Can’t wait to see how it develops.

  Glorious, elegant Barbaresco.
  
  Needs 2-3 hours of air to open up…really tight, closed nose and palate to start, but with time it developed beautiful red cherry, rose, and tobacco notes. Long, elegant finish.
  
  It’s pricy wine, but it’s good pricy wine.

  From an Enomatic sample. Very closed but the cherry, tar and rose petals Nebbiolo markers are there. Lovely fruit, biting tannin still. One for the long haul but the elegance and class is so obvious. Would love to revisit in 15-20 years...is it worth 300 USD? No, not to me.

  Quite tight on the nose, not very expressive. With some swirling hints of dried herbs, tar, dark fruit, flowers. On the palate grippy, firm, mineral. Great acidity and a wall of tannins. Very pure fruit; very intense. A little drying but remarkably persistent. Fascinating. Extremely promising, but much too young. 94-95+(+)
