Expressive and perfumed on the nose, red fruit, spices, earthy notes. Mineral and bright on the palate, lots of acidity, some fruit in the background, nice structure. Good depth. Lingering, vibrant finish. 91-93

Bobs annual wine weekend (New Haven and Guilford): The 93 flight was disappointing to me but loved by others. the Drouhin improved over time and with food but i don't see the fruit overcoming the acid in this wine

Flat out exciting wine. Crystal clear flavors and punchy acidity, but not spikey at all - everything great about the best 1993s. Penetrating nose of pure red fruits, orange zest, and some spice. Very chambolle and very, very Amoureuses in texture - seemingly light but very persistent. Absolutely classic and thrilling. And still young.

Takes a good long while to get going - very 1993 today; mustard seed, very red and bright pure fruit and bracing acidity. Intense palate presence in a piercing way. Very Chambolle in the mouth with excellent purity with a distinct tangy juiciness. Approachable now, but I think this could be better in the future if the fruit unwinds a bit. Looking forward to following these. Pristine provenance from Drouhin.

No formal notes, but this was a treat! It needed quite a bit of air to fully blossom, but once it did, it was a fantastic bottle of Burgundy! 95ish
