Nose: Concord grape on the cork and initial pour, primary strawberries, cherries, hints of clove and black licorice. Hints of alcohol later on. Mouth: Smooth mouth feel, strawberries and cherries, soft and supple tannins. Hints of cinnamon and clove.

Light red in color. Almost translucent. 14.9% ABV. Rustic nose of red fruits, earth and flowers. Medium body with exquisite acidity. Soft, warm and supple. Black cherry, baking spices, sarsaparilla and minerals on the palate. The finish is long and seamless. Charming Pinot Noir from a difficult vintage that has aged exceptionally well. I’ll open my last bottle in 2025.

Very developed nose and appearance, ruby hue that has a certain amount of opaqueness. Intense nose of stewed strawberry, dried dark fruits, old leather. Palate is all the way there and then some, starting to fall apart and lose its fruit, taking on almost Amaro like qualities of developed, dried dark fruits and a touch of smoke and wood. Finish is medium and distinctive. Wine has lost its structure and balance. This is a year or two past its window. Acid is low, mellow and disjointed. Tannin is fully resolved, soft and powdery. You can still drink it...dont expect too much from it. Drinking like a disjointed and over the hill 87-88 but that is not a proper representation of the wine at this stage.

This has notes of dark cherry, kirsch, transitioning to floral and vanilla oaks. Very nicely balanced in a fruit forward and burly New World style. In a nice drinking window, which I would guess will last for 5+ more years. 14.9% ABV.
