Pretty sure this was aged in American oak although everyone at the winery says they only use French. It's very herbal with heavy dill and anise on the tongue. I think for this budget brand of Sauv Blanc it's not what you'd expect. Stick with the Fume Blanc ftom the estate. Nice nose though of grapefruit and lime.

Faint lemon nose, green pepper and lemon palate. Plenty of acidity and finishes a bit too tart.
