  More ox and less fresh tropical fruit than the first two bottles. Definitely not as good.

  Why someone would let this wine go on Winebid for $5 is beyond me? Their loss...my gain! I LOVE these wines.....very unique....and this 10 yr old is holding up just fine! Bright yellow, young looking color....nose is all tropical, with a grapefruit/celery stick bite to it. Very exotic tropical flavors in the mouth....coconut sun tan lotion, pineapple, grapefruit, banana creme pie......alive with tart lemon citrus, minerals, some smoked pineapples on banana leaf and cedar planks. Exotic and still fresh...not as balanced as other vintages though....some rough edges.......but tasty. I can see if you are not acustomed to these type wines, that they might throw you. They are like nothing else in Napa Valley. Very unique, and might be off putting to some. For me.....they are not. Great stuff!
