For a $20 wine, this is just OK. A little disappointing. But it's not a $20 wine! I paid $7 for it a few years ago. Can't remember why I chose this particular bottle, but for $7, this wine is amazing.
Very classic Cab flavors - cassis, cherry, some herbaceousness. But what really stands out is the depth of flavor. This wine was very rich and "juicy". Strong flavors, strong nose. I would expect for this price, it would be lacking in depth but it does not, at all.
Only negative is that it's a bit funky on the palate after you swallow. That finish is a little strange. Almost a green pepper/meat combination. Not awful, but odd. Still for $7, this is a great QPR and just a pretty decent wine.
