Great Nuits villages. Sweet red fruit nose, earthy tones that the wine showed in the past are gone. Velvety red fruit taste, soft, sweet. At its peak now, as a lot of 2002 village wines are now.

For a basic NSG this is beautiful! Fantastic nose which is warm, spicy and sweet. A little hard on the palate but to be positive there are good tannins which give the wine structure. Some sweetness too, lovely.

Much nicer bottle than last time (not transported in luggage to the US?). Earthy, syrupy red currents, and a full mouth texture.

This wine has evolved even further. Very fruity, cassis like, bright taste. Tannins have integrated. Fine. Drink now.
