  This wine is ruby in colour , with a great medium plus nose of cassis, graphite, and leafiness, and beneath the top notes an underlying quality of vegetal undergrowth, and cherries. The inviting nose leads on to a mouthwatering palate, showing medium body, high acidity,and medium levels of alcohol. There are flavours of raspberries, dried cherries, and hints of dark chocolate. What a delicious wine! It definitely benefits from judicious chilling. A perfect example of a light Loire Cabernet Franc - the sort of wine one would hope to find in a Parisian bistro to accompany duck legs braised withsummer vegetables, or steak frites! Great value , i can recommend it wholeheartedly!
