Not only are these people dedicated, superb winemakers, they are also savvy marketers with a decent sense of humor. This time they used their Seyval Blanc varietal to imitate the style and taste of Vinho Verde, calling it Vino Verde, and it is a hilarious success. They captured the early ripening, super crisp, mildly effervescent style perfectly. A touch of Lake Michigan Shore terroir. This is an opportunity when Fenn Valley Vineyards propensity towards big acid is totally appropriate. Probably a little more complex and interesting than most Vinho Verde.
