  • Very fruity berry notes, blackish core, plummy...
    low- medium acidity, medium bodied.
licorice, balsamico, red cherry, black pepper, black cherry, garrigue.
rum pot towards the finish line.

very grenachy but NOT too spicy as one would expect...
fun fact: 8,99€ in the supermarket which the till girl somehow managed to NOT cash up, I'm sorry! (holding the check...:-))

  • Dark ruby. Quite spicey nose, red fruit, kirsch liquer and some vegetal notes. A bit straightforward in the mouth, with softish tannins, medium acidity and a spicey medium finish. A bit imbalanced in the end with some liquery angles. In all a decent wine, especially considering the €7 I paid in the local Delhaize subs (or should I say Ahold). Good value for money.

  • Surprisingly decent sub €4 Rasteau. Fruit, spice and some structure if a little flabby. Came about as part of a "2 bottles for 4€10" challenge and the best that I've managed.
