Medîum golden, lively with slow moving tears, 13.5% abv. Medium(+) aromas of fresh cut grass, hay, flint, lemon pith, lime with cat pee lurking in the background. Green! Dry, medium-medium(+) acidity, medium tannin and medium body. Palate of lemon, yellow apple, red grapefruit, papaya, lemon tisane, and pepper notes. Slick mouthfeel, tight structure. Good length with balanced finish. Well done. Smack in the drinking window.

Spire Collection Tasting at Wine on the Way (Wine on the Way): Lots of fresh peach on the nose, with hints of herbs. A little heavier in the mouth than classic new world Sauvignon Blancs, with more of a New Zealand style. White peach, sage and flowers on the palate. Refreshing, with character.

Rally nice sauv. Bright and clean with a light citrus note. Give it 10 minutes to breathe. It paired well with a chermoula-rubbed pork loin and brown butter sourdough stuffing.

Strong aromas of grapefruit and flowers. Tons of zippy acidity. I think it is well made for it's style, but it isn't a style I prefer.

A really beautiful sauvignon blanc with a palate of citrus, pineapple and minerals. A very nice finish.
