Drinking wonderfully right now. My wife commented that at 8 years old, it still tasted "wonderfully fresh". This is not a pinot noir for the faint of heart. Juicy blue and black fruits. Big mouthfeel but still a nice balance of fruit and acid. Just delicious.

Tasted blind. Clear, medium (+) ruby. The nose is clean, youthful, with bright, medium (+) ripe red fruit and black fruit. The palate is dry, but with plenty of ripe black cherry, medium acidity, medium tannins and high alcohol (14.5%). This is a plush wine, with medium (+) flavor intensity and length. It is drinking well now and has lots of aging potential. I guessed that it was from the North Coast, just because it seemed more Californian and a warmer climate than Oregon. I guess that may be the effect of the vintage. This was very nice and one of the top wines of the evening.

Jammy fruit, but lacking a bunch of the more characteristic Oregon notes. Probably drink rather than hold.
