Soft palate, not as crisp as many NZ SBs. Vibrant but not piercing gooseberry attack. Slight asparagus. Easy glugger, crowd pleaser but I think a little more acidity would add some interest.

Very nice wine! Great balance. Did not overpower the palatte with acidity as some NZ SB's can. More refined then their entry level SB. Notes of white peaches, slightly grassy. Will definitely be purchasing again.

WSET Advanced Cert3 - course wines (Fine Wine Partners, Sydney): {screwcap, 14%, A$15} Pale lemon. Aromas of rose, lychee, lemon and a general floral-ness. Lighter-bodied, with plenty of acid, the lychee, gooseberry & grapefruit flavours can’t prevent a certain hollowness showing on the palate. The alcohol hides quite well; this could really use a dash of oak to fill it out a bit. Not for cellaring.
