IPNC - minty and herbal nose with a rush of bright red fruit. Yeasty note comes through. Contains 30% reserve wine 1999-2013. Really adds complexity. Fresh and impressive.

Surprisingly fresh compared to previous bottle. Palate and nose dominated by maderisation, still this wine manages to convey a youthful vigor although mousse is almost gone by now.

Quite interesting, a good effort but hampered by a touch too much oxidation, a sluggish acidity and mousse and a monotonous raspberry palate. It is a lot better than what I expected, though. Production method is quite interesting and considering the circumstances I'm really happy with this. I had a very interesting conversation with the winemaker - and he is obviously getting closer to his goal of making something akin to champagne. Tjis certainly has some aspects of the mature wines from that region, but doesn't compare in acidity, complexity and minerality. It's like he made a wine with a third of the champagne palette, not bad but not the same level.

Willamette with a touch of Wedding Planning (or vice versa); 7/2/2014-7/4/2014 (Willamette Valley): Comes from the '98-'08 grape disgorgement. Made in typical champenoise method. Get the herbal flavors you typically get from majority Pinot Noir. Very flavorful.
