A wonderful, dry rose. This really pairs well with food (in this case, with a panko-crusted fried goat cheese over roasted beets and greens). This is not your typical sweet summer rose,so it defies most preconceptions for a rose, but is rather a dry, actually complex wine with notes of strawberries, herbs, and some minerality, with a good acidity to balance the richness. A very useful wine that can substitute in a meal for a white or even in a situation where you might have pulled something like a lighter red Beaune or Cali pinot. Looking forward to trying the 2007.

I had high hopes, but was a little disappointed. I really shouldn't read Parker so much when he's off Rhone and Bordeaux <http://www.kapcsandywines.com/assets/client/File/Business%20Week%2012-24-2007[1].pdf> Strawberry on nose and palate, glycerin and light bodied

I forgot to review this last night. It was dry, fresh, not sweet at all, and had a rich complexity. This is best with food. Nice, but needs food to bring out its depth.

Very nice rose. Lovely nose and taste of watermelon and citrus. Very good but can't say I enjoy it that much more than a $10 Tavel.

Consistent with my prior notes, but I liked it even more this time. Great rose.
