  Red cherry, cassis and plum on the nose with some hints of cigar box. Cherry and currant on the palate with a little too much acidity that seems out of balance with sharp but tight tannins. The flavors apparently unable to complement each other, produce a moderately short finish where the tannins take over momentarily. A decent cab overall though, that may have to wait a few years to come together properly.
