One of the best Lynmar Estate Pinot Noirs we have had. To say that it aged well would be a huge understatement. Nicely integrated, full weighted, savory cherry fruit with light cola, earth, spice, resolved tannins and a wonderful velvety mouth feel and long finish. So glad we held back on this bottle.

Brilliant ruby color, nose a little harsh at first but mellowed later. Ripe plum, berry, and cherry cola notes leading to a smooth finish. Another fine Pinot Noir from Lynmar... paired with Copper River Salmon/Thai Peanut Sauce, Risotto, and mixed greens.

This wine perplexed me at first. Not typical for Lynmar Pinots....this one is rich yet tannic, dusty, mineral-filled. Thanks to Steve Tanzer I finally placed the predominant aspect of the palette....blood orange. A complex wine...I like it but probably best to wait 2- 3 years more.

As before. The fruit flavors are rasberry and cherry. A touch of anise. Overall fantastic.
