Nose of ripe blackberries, mulberry, vanilla, dirt, and cedar. Nose is a touch hot, but otherwise shows a nice balance of fading fruit and tertiary notes. Palate is smooth with medium to medium plus acidity and tannin. Having ribeye with chimichurri - awesome pairing! This is drinking beautifully now, nice balance of fruit and mature flavors.

As another has noted, very Darioush! Decanted >2 hours, definitely not a pop-n-pour. Dark, inky. Silky but substantive. So well balanced. When initially bought at the winery 4-5 yrs ago, I remember it being very green and raw but could tell it had excellent potential. I think now is the optimal drinking time. Nice to experience a well made malbec Paired with porterhouse steak.

Wow great wine. A little more oak that I usually like but solid wine and a great finish
