  We got this while members of the Round Pond club, never saw a bottle with Petit Verdot on the label. Was very apprehensive to open this bottle, decided to give it a try, served with rack of lamb and mushroom risotto. Opened 3 hours before dinner, decanted for the last hour. A lot of oak on opening, but that faded to leave a dark fruit nose. Inky, deep purple color. This had plenty of plum and blackberry, with chocolate at the finish. Would have given odds that this would rate 85 or less, boy was I wrong
