Unctuous! Last time around this was cherry pie in a bottle, this time it was deep and brooding. Tannins fully integrated, supple. Attacks with concentrated sweetness, faintly medicinal, quickly cuts to bitter, then moderate finish. Seems like peak.

Cherry pie: dark cherry, a bit of blackberry, faint buttery crust. Concentrated fruit, medium acid. Paired with grilled pork and spring vegetables. Very nice wine. Looking forward to drinking the next bottle in a couple years: definitely has years left.

Cherry candy in a bottle. Dark ruby color. Silky - almost a little bit creamy. Very nice and lingering finish.
