Segue bocca altrettanto intrigante. Da riassaggiare con più calma.

  • A medium lemon-green, seemingly unfiltered. The nose is mildly oxidative, slightly waxy and woolly, with candied lemon peels, lemon fromage and ripe yellow apples. Here's pretty obvious limestone minerality, a touch of herbs and just a hint of vin jaune. The taste is perfectly dry with a high concentration of old-vine fruit, distinct limestone acidity and persistent flavours. Since the wine is made out of selected grapes from 65-years-old low-yielding vines - with old oak, minimal so2, and a hint of oxidation - this is what a really good white burgundy might have tasted like a century ago. Very interesting and highly drinkable stuff with a good future. Available in Sweden through Vin&Natur and Gaston @240 sek.
