Rich, think dark red. Touch of age at he rim. Nose of liquorice, meat and heat. And mint. Lovely but further south than bordeaux.Palate starts dry. Minty-liquricey then turns sweet. Bitter twist to the end. The wine was better cooler. Seemed to heighten the fruit but keep the liquorice and mint tones. Lovely blackcurrant fruit.

Deepish red, bright, leggy. Still youthful. The nose is inky rich and alcoholic. Dark fruit. Chewy. The palate is full, lovely bitter twist to the tail. With time a liquorice edge works its way into the nose and the palate mellows to be a smooth, creamy mix of dark fruit and liquorice. Plums.

Full and red with no ageing. The nose is dark fruit, very fruity, very cabernet. The palate is rich and fruity but tastes a touch thinner than I remember the previous bottle. But it does settle and this is a lovely drink.

Last bottle. Had sentimental value, as we were drinking these 15 years ago. Cheers!

Rich dry nose, creamy fruit (sign of the year?). Sweet. The palate is rich and creamy with a middling finish. Good - if unusual
