Decanted for an hour. Nice middleweight wine with more blue than red fruit character as so many 05’s show, good sappy mouthfeel with still present fine grained tannins on the finish, hints of Vosne spice though I wanted more Vosne character than this showed, and I’d guess maybe another 5 years of positive evolution in front of it. Nothing earth shattering here but I certainly liked better than Mr. Nelson.

Burg Dinner at The Eatery, Wine #3: Spiced notes up front, foresty underbrush, good pure red-ish fruit, not a bad nose, but really lacking in structure. A surprise that this is a '05, from Malconsort no less.
