  • Medium color and body, astringent tannin, lean fruit, and nothing rich or caressing. Very out of character for wines from Napa, famous for their dark, rich, fruity, and polished taste. Closer to the delicate Pinot Noirs of some Red Burgundy appellations, such as village wines from Chambolle-Musigny, or pale Pinots from high Alpine valleys in northern Italy, such as Valle d'Aosta. Overall, too thin to provide much enjoyment.

  • Might be good or bad, but buyers from WTSO should know JHN is listed as owner of the trademark. Funny how he scores all his wines so high (Castlebank, Dignitas, and others), and you never know about his relationship to the "winery."

  • got this from WTSO. went blind on it as there were no ratings out there i could find. decanted it for an hour and it did open up. agree that its newly bottled so advise sitting on this for a couple more years. could smell the cherries, cranberries, and vanilla. we liked it and think its a good middle of the road consumer wine you can get out there. smooth finish, good color, went well with ribs we had
