Deep, inky purple with thick, rich legs. Nose of black cherries, mineral, aspirin and Tootsie Rolls of all things. Nice, rich tannin. a bit of chalkiness which I like. A nicely acidic, lomg fruity finish. Great price and value

Very good, tasty Tempranillo for a bargain price. Not big and concentrated, but a true rendition of Tempranillo. The nose has a touch of greenness, spice, alcohol and red fruit. There is an authentic lead pencil, slightly metallic influence to the mostly red raspberry fruit. Medium plus bodied. Not big, and kind of austere. A taste of red licorice on the roof of the mouth. The acid and tannins show a nice maturity for such a relatively young wine.

Really very good and amazing value. Heavily fruity, maybe slightly sweet, very open, very drinkable. Worth getting a bit more. Grade: A-.
