Popped and poured. A very delightful Chassagne-Montrachet. Color turning toward darker yellow, and slight marmalade. The nose is gentle with grilled nuts and hints of creamy coconut. Mainly orchard fruit in the mouth. I don’t see any upside from here, indeed it appears to be on the decline with some oxidative notes in the mouth; drink up. 4-13-15-7: 89/100.

Pop and pour, notes from 45 min open. Lovely nose with lemon oil, a touch of caramelized sugar-coated wet stone, a touch of savory herbs. On the palate, excellent acidity, but perfect density: more lemon oil and wet stone...just envelopes the palate. Very nice finish with citrus oil and a touch of chamomile. Far and away my best bottle...sad it's my last bottle! Paired perfectly with seared scallops with linguine with garlic and tomato sauteed in butter.

Nice mature chardonnay with mellow honeyed fruit on the palate on a welcoming acid base, hazelnuts and figs on the nose.

Showed slight oxidation characters at first. Opened up and blew off the nutty aromas for a lime, vanilla. Mineral and tension make it pretty tasty.
Day 2. Flinty and gorgeous. Updated rating. Perfect.
